agentcodybank - My kids have Kumon for English and Maths and these are helpful because they strengthen the kids' foundation. They can complete their Kumon worksheets within 45mins so it's not a big deal. My dd attends a weekly tuition session at a nearby center. Each session is about 1.5hr long and they give maybe max 4 sums to complete by the following session, so again, it's manageable. School homework takes priority over other homework so on days where dd has many homework, all other work is stopped. But there are some days when teachers don't give her any homework and that's when we step in and give her a couple of sums to do. I know it sounds like a lot but we are mindful of not stressing her out too much. But I think I have a special daughter who unfortunately has inherited my \"interest\" in maths
