amk:Anyone received the tablet you ordered from Acer?
amk:Yeah... I agree. Really lousy. :imcool:
If the current principal knew that he will be leaving the school next year, why did he still execute the tablet program? I have already placed and made payment for the tablet during the last briefing. My question is whether the new principal will inherit and execute this program when she takes over next year.lwm99:
Heard today, principal announced he will be leaving.
Good. Lousy principal. Just interested to roll out the tablet program without knowing much about IT, and forced the parents to purchase expensive and useless Windows tablets.

Adam has $140 and his brother has $80. How much money must Adam give his brother so that Adam will have $10more than his brother?
A--> 60 more
60 -10=50
50/2=25
Alternatively, make use of before n after unchanged total concept
Total -->80+140=220
After
A--> 1u+10
B-->1u
2u-->220-10=210
1u-->105
105-80=25(before n after b has)

Adam has $140 and his brother has $80. How much money must Adam give his brother so that Adam will have $10more than his brother?
$220 - $10 = $210
$210 divide by 2 = $105
$105 + $10 = $115
$140 - $115 = $25
Adam has to give $25 to his brother.

sembgal:This requires the model transfer method.ectanz:Please help me to understand the following question. Although I understand that the answer won't be so easy of adding 10 to 80 but very hard to explain to my girl.
Keith had 80 more marbles than Javier. Then Javier gave Keith 10 of his marbles. How many more marbles did Keith have than Javier now?
Answer : 100
10+80+10=100
Keith is 1 unit and 80 more
Javier is 1 unit.
Then Javier gave Keith 10, Javier becomes (1 unit - 10)
Keith becomes 10 + 80 + 10 more which is 100 more.
