Looks like the DSA tis yr for RGS is kinda a bit stricter… but like all other schools, the application is a lot & the slots are just minimal…hopefully you guys will get some good news from the other schools…

Hey dont worry, i believe there few interview dates…& if u havent recv any rejection emails then the chance is still there.
My Dd took her intvw abt the same time too last yr… But seeing theres already some differences in tis yr Dsa application, anythng is possible.

hey jus to add on to the list of factors. you might want to consider the CCA that your DS is interested in. As much as we want our DS to hv a good steady result in their studies, we would definitely want him to hv a good time & some fun too with their CCA's. It builds their confidence if they are being selected as the captain/leader of their CCA.
I went to some of the games that my DC was involved since they were in primary schools & seeing them lifting the trophy for their respective schools can be really a wonderful feeling.

I only lift up my tea cup when I was back in school.. LOL!!!

Dear parents all, i have a weak heart & i dont really knw hw I survived this few yrs back when my DS got the rejection email. I somehow managed to stay strong for my DS & was all the way behind him till his Psle. Something which i realised back then was our bonding get even closer as father/son & till now we remembered thse days when we need each other… Sob sob… But hey he still managed to get into his dream sch aft Psle. Thank God.

He is beaming wif joy back then… So parents its no ones fault that our Dc was not selected tis time round.
to stay together as one is the most impt thing if it doesnt get rosy… Our DC are special in their own ways…
P/s: mayb my Ds is stronger than me… Lol!!!

Hi kbcharmaine, from what i knw previously, interview wil be the last phase for Dsa selection. Those exceptional students will bypass the half-day programme & will straight go for the interview. Thse who alr went for the interview are more or less have 1 leg across the finish line. Aft this half-day programme, thse selected will then get to go for the grp interview..

Perhaps can check the junk email as well & call the sch to confirm for thse who doesnt get any email.
Dont be disheartened.. Still a way to get in to ur choice of sch.. PSLE wa lai!

Feeling disappointed.Looks like DC messed GAT.No calls no emails even tho his marks in high 80s for EMS plus strong testimonials and several certs.

Sigh...

Depends on what school u apply. Last GAT test date was 9-Jul. If take Eng n Math test selection round 1 part 2, last date was 16-Jul. So, not finish processing yet by Principles Academy.

Yes there's still some days to go.. Most likely next week there will be some email for those '2nd chance' students.. & hopefully it will be really nice piece of gud news... All the best!
