sweet mom:hi, have you apply it? any result?
Hi Sweet Mom,
No, we have not applied. But Catholic High is one of my son's targets. Was just wondering, would the 'O' level and IP have different COP?

Hi,
I canโt seem to find any discussions on the new IP programme that Catholic High is starting next year.
I have heard good feedback about Catholic High as a secondary school, but not sure how the IP programme will be. Anyone has any insight to share?
Thanks.

At the end of the 6-yr programme, students will graduate with a NUSH diploma, with no 'O' Level or 'A' Level certs at all, am I right?
What are the student's options if, under extreme unforeseen circumstances, the child performs badly and is not awarded with a diploma. How will the school help the child? Can he take 'A' level then?
Thanks in advance for some advice.
For those get into IP sch other than NUSH then hv to worry what if they fail or not do well in their A level exam after 6 yrs. For NUSH, the marks fr Y3 to Y6 contribute to the total score in the NUSH diploma, not only the final exam in Y6. Hence, students are less stressful in Y6 compared to other IP schools' students. That why I prefer mine to get into NUSH as the sys ensures they work consistently thr'out 6 yrs & prevent 'last-min studying'.
[/quote]Thanks for your advice, HDistinction and walterp. NUSH's system seems fair.
kune:Hi Kune,Hi Eureka
My son will be in P1 next year....i am quite anxious. Hope he adapts well.
I favour Sakura Chicken too, esp when doing chicken for chicken rice (be it white or soy sauce). It tastes better and meat is more tender.
Hi
Eureka reporting here. I have 2 kids in ATS (P5 and P2). Hope to learn from fellow parents of ATS, and possibly share my own experience too.

matrix0405:Thanks matrix0405.If you suspect he got ADHD, do consider to get him 'tested', early intervention can help him. Otherwise it may manifest into other behaviour: anti-social, bully, lazy, don like to study (because low attention span) etc.eureka:I feel comforted after reading the posts here and knowing that I am not alone. I am also having trouble with my DS who is in P5. His results are not too bad, but my problem is his attitude. He does not havdone.
I feel like a broken record reminding and pushing him to do his homework daily. The thing is, I am not pushing for good grades, but more for an improved attitude. I believe his grades will improve when he has the right attitude. All these are getting to me. I am losing my temper a lot more. :x I am not sure if he is showing signs of ADHD, or is he just being \"a kid\".
From the many better.
I feel comforted after reading the posts here and knowing that I am not alone. I am also having trouble with my DS who is in P5. His results are not too bad, but my problem is his attitude. He does not have the drive, gets distracted very easily and needs a lot of reminders to get a job done. He is also very disorganised and tend to misplace things. His problem was manageable until P4, when I started getting complaints from teachers about poor quality work and homework not done.

From the many encouraging words posted in this forum, I want to believe that he needs his time to grow up and think for himself. I will, on the other hand, try to control myself and not lose my temper too often. Hope things will get better.
