Just checking if any parents enrol in MOE K in let’s say am/pm and then another child care for the other half of the day? The only reason I’m considering MOE K is for the priority admission to the primary school but do not want to compromise on my child’s learning. Other than logistics, are there other considerations?

BT area, girls more options than boys. obvious is to enrol in 2A1 first, then if your near choice is within your risk profile, then you can opt for the 2C choice.
Not really feasible cos I have an elder child who is schooling nearer to my current home. Basically one school in Bukit Timah and another in Seng Kang. Moreover current home is better located to our work places.extacy2508\" post_id=\"1990720\" time=\"1597304891\" user_id=\"171049:

if distance is the main concern, then i will move closer.
mine was 12 km from school. kids manage better than parents. i dropped school bus after a couple of years so that i can control the timing better. I am happier when its school holiday than the kids (so that i dont have to wake up early)
Since you are some years away, the other way to move to 2B for the nearer school. You must understand the extra effort to do that.[/quote]Thanks for the feedback and opinions. I'm exploring another option to transfer my girl to a mixed school to get phase 1 priority but of course popular schools are hard to transfer into. -

I like the culture of ncps so location is the main deterrent. Need to take into consideration the logistics when there are extra school activities as he progresses.extacy2508\" post_id=\"1990712\" time=\"1597303930\" user_id=\"171049:

What is your preference? and which year to enrol?
Some kids sleep / rest well on school bus. Some parents feel nearest is best.
Personally, I wont risk to go balloting just because it's near (and a confirmed place in earlier phase)
Enrolling in year 2024. Still some way away.

Seeking some opinions on my situation. I'm alumni of ncps but the school is 14km away from home. Other schools of choice near home are usually pretty over subscribed. Likely we won't be driving my son to school, hence would it be much too tiring to send him to a school so far away?

RE: All About Home Addresses
Not sure if this question has been asked before, if the address on my NRIC is different from my husband, can I elect to use either parents’ address? I’m asking as I’m planning for my husband and I to own one property each in our individual names.
