I believe that should be possible. I've not seem any case where this is not allowed. But you must adhere to the rules AFTER the registration, ie. your kid should go stay with the caregiver if he gets into the first school.

The last P1 Registration was not very competitive because of the lower numbers of kids. For the Dog year, it might be a bit more competitive. Good luck!
