I am new here. My girl is going to RGPS next year, Primary 4R.
We have yet to buy the house tee as I am not sure what color she will be assigned to. I called school and they told me to just buy any color as it does not matter.

Can someone kindly verify that? :rahrah:

And, any mommies whose kid going to same class? Would be nice if we can keep in touch and keep track of the ongoings in school :hugs:

I am also looking for potential cab-sharing to the school in 2012 when my girl will go on to morning session.

If any RGPS parents here stay at Sengkang/Buangkok/Punggol area and would like to potentially do cab-sharing, please kindly let me know. I have a neighbour whom is a cab-driver and I will try to source for a regular cab from him.

Hopefully this will materialise then our girls might not have to wake up at 5+am....Many thanks.

How about coming back? My girl is going RGPS next year too & still thinking of logistics issues.

Any mommies here with girls going to RG but staying in the northeast? Me headache about transport now…with all the "extra" classes coming up.

Thanks so much for taking the effort n time to provide such a good overview of the gep at RGPS. I have heard good things about the program but greatly concern how she would take the small fish in big pond impact. She only has Chinese tuition n I heard many gep children still need attend learning lab, in addition to the school work. I think that's quite a lot for a 9 yr old girl.

Was yr boy from a boy's school? Is ACS near yr place? Sorry sorry.. I am just trying to figure out whether GEP post kids base on the type of schools they were from followed by whether YE come from SAP/non-SAP school.

Registration form indicates at least 3 choices of school. Errrm… Does it mean we cannot indicate only 1 or 2?

Let the child decide. We werent sure whether she should go to gep coz we were happy with her school. But she insisted she wanted and chose her own school! If the conviction is there, they will work for it.

Mvm, if it's not too personal, mind if I asked why didn't u opt for a girls' school since yr DD was from one?

Mvm, my DD is caught is the same situation. She is from a non-sap all girls school, NY is a sap co-Ed school. I am only worried about the HCL (if she gets in).. Don't think she can cope

Was just wondering.. if my DD has always attended a non-GEP school near NYPS, will they take that into consideration that she has always been traveling this distance even though we don't stay near the school?


My choice are either NYPS or RGPS. DD is from a girls school, was wondering whether we will stand a better chance with RG. Btw.. We stay at SengKang
