After I bought a pair of scissor that cost me $90. I am now my gal’s "official" hairstylist, hee (as if she has a choice) … kee
I guess I am not very impressed with those stylist out there… to think of it if they don’t do a good job, a haircut for 20bucks + is not really worth spending loh…

RE: Delivery from Amazon
Question for you guys.
I tried to order something from a US website – abc.com via vpost for some clothings and my order was rejected. I guess it’s becos the credit card addy n the billing addy doesn’t tally. Anyway, via singapore vconceige, they are unable to help me to buy from this abc.com too.
So I went to amazon.com and found this piece of clothing I wanted. And it’s through a 3rd party which is abc.com company.
My Qs is will my order through amazon also get rejected because the 3rd party abc.com rejected me before??
I’m quite confused about ordering things from them…
I need some advise… thanks! -
RE: Which is your most preferred credit card?
ghostz:
do you guys giro your cc bill or diligently pay every mth? most of my cards are paid manually rather than giro (sometimes i forget and must call to waive fee etc. very leychey as i'm forgetful). what is your practice in remembering when who to pay?
My partner surprisingly will remember to pay all bills esp. those credit cards bill via internet. It's really convenient. We try not to send cheque. Save stamp and cheque, hee... -
RE: Cost of parenting
Ca3kids:
Ya Hor. I still have not include all those Tuition fee, piano fee etc.... :moneyflies: Head pain but what to do. We believe to give kids best that we can. I think most of the parents now also think that way. That's why parents in Singapore become Kiasu, partly due to education system here too. Haha.

Since everything is going up... I will selectively send my child to only necessary classes. Is there a need/must to go for piano class? I wouldn't send for the sake of sending... that's how I feel... -
RE: Daiso The $2 Shop
These days…in order to cut cost… they will definitely cut the material cost/quality too… afterall… come to think of it, it’s only 2bucks, how good and lasting can it be… I guess we just have to be shoppie ‘smart’ heehee…

Which is your most preferred credit card?
Recently, I wanted to apply the takashimaya credit card. But after reading all the details, they don’t seem to give too many benefits except during their sale period. I guess I will stick with my POSB everyday card (which I find it really good/beneficial) and Robinsons card since I frequent that place…
How many credit cards do you have???
Citybank Credit Card seems to be pretty good… and I think it’s a card that most people would at least have one??? I always see them tie up with most dinning places and seem to be offering rather attractive ‘deals’… -
RE: Digi Camcorder - Which brand / model do you recommend?
I’m using SONY. So far so good… Bought it from a shop at Marina Sq. Same floor as Barang Barang…

RE: All About Kitchen Appliances
I’m also using Mitsubishi. MR-CU375U-ST looks similar to my model. The freezer is also at the bottom. I like the ‘layout’ as I hardly access to the freezer compartment.
I have removed a tray at the chiller section so those fruits juice/fresh milk can all stand upright. I use a lot of plastic container from tupperware to store every thing. From Chiller to Freezer. Even the veg/fruit compartment. No loose bit in there. By doing that, things are more organised and food/fruits last longer and that save me from doing daily grocery shopping.
