      Hi everyone,

I was wondering how much pocket money are you planning to give your kids when they start school? I was thinking of $1 per day everyday and $2 on the Tuesdays when they have to stay back in school for CCA. What do you think? Is it too much, too little? Would love to hear what everyone has to say?
U didnt opt for the food voucher for ur child ? I have, so in the meantime i dont have to give him any pocketmoney yet. At the same time, i'll check the prices of the food in the canteen before deciding how much to give my boy.

I let my son speak dialect at my parents place. I think it is important to expose them to dialect, not just Chinese and English, when young. Once they get older, it will be very hard to get them to pick up.

No harm knowing to speak more, sometime I feel speaking dialect feel more personal and close to kins
I fully agree to this šŸ˜„

      Hi all,

Do you guys let your children speak dialects at home? If so, do you speak the paternal or maternal parent's dialect?
Yes for me, my husband's a Cantonese so my boy knows how to speak simple cantonese, he's better in listening/understandin than saying.
