Full agree that we should just move forward and focus on the next paper. The reason why i am in this forum is because my boy will not tell me more abt \"the past\". And i do not want to irritate him :slapshead:

Just want to know if he can manage the topics

      cheers!

No. Never asked DS to call and report. Some kids like to discuss some don't, mine belongs to the 2nd group. What abt you, will ur DD/DS be calling you?

Ditto....my son belong to 2nd group ๐Ÿ˜‚ Damn hard to get him report.

    • RE: All About Wushu

      buds:
Hi all. My DD2 is a very flexible and hyper-active girl and i'm considering

to allow her to join Wushu for her CCA, since they offer that in her sch.
Can anyone share more about this sport?

I'm in 2 minds whether to send her for gymnastics or wushu at the moment.
Both seem to fit her super active nature and i know for sure she will like it.
Was initially considering ballet as well since it is also offered in her school,
but she's definitely not a girly sort of girl. More tomboy-ish like me... so i
think ballet wud bore her after a while.

How much does it cost to learn wushu outside in say CCs?
I want to make a comparison to the school's fees which i
should think would be cheaper. Thanks in advance. ๐Ÿ˜„
girls that are potential in wushu are rare gems. Unlike gym, more competitive. if she likes wushu, go for it. it is a performing sport, will not result her as \"tomboy\".
should start young to let them accumulate their experience, especially competition , where eventualy can use them for DSA. Be it wushu or gym...it takes a while to confirm their potential & interest, then results. highly recommend wushu at Wufang Singapore where both my sons are learning. website below for reference :-

:celebrate: my son also \"all of the above\" !!

my girl said biceps/triceps (is labelled as one letter) & the other one is the fulcrum - the elbow. So it is P & R?

      I think so ๐Ÿ™

      The Question is:
The diagram shows a man exercising by raising a dumbell. Which of the following are needed for this action?
      a) The biceps and the triceps
      b) The elbow
      c) The lower arm (bone)

My answer: All of the above.
Reason: The lower and upper arms are like levers. The elbow is the fulcrum, the muscles apply the effort and the lower arm is part of the lever. So, you need all three!

      small intestines

      Aya:
What did everyone put for the first question? Some people in my class say that the ans is either 2. Stomach or 3. Small Intestines.

And how about the last question for Booklet B? That one was tough...

So, how many questions have everyone confirmed wrong for Booklet A? For me, already 2 questions ๐Ÿ˜ข Overall, I don't think the paper was easy at all... of course an exception for the science freaks out there.

    • RE: PSLE 2009 RESULTS!!

      Finally, our agony is over....kekeke......

All the kids deserve a good break. Reward them for their effort they put in, not just reward them for their results.

The stress will resume last week of November 2009, where results will be released. Meanwhile, HAVE FUN :celebrate:
