what are some of the robotics competition avaliable for pri -sec sch students?

My son is currently enrolled under Centre for Robotics Learning (C4RL) and they are looking to form a few teams to take part in the upcoming Asia Pacific Robotics Competition(APYRC - http://apyrc.com/) in June. Apparently schools are sending their teams for this competition as well, so it would be a great experience. The centre will provide training to prepare the team for this competition as well.

They have been providing robotics classes to top schools like RI, RGS, Dunman High, St Nicholas, Rosyth, Ai Tong... just to name a few.

They are very flexible with schedules and have small classes(low trainer to students ratio). Trainers are well-trained, experienced and patient.

My boy is interested in robotics - does anyone have any good recommendations for such programmes for beginners (8 yrs old) in or near sengkang? I am eyeing the longer camps - 4-5 days. the CC offers single day programmes, but i think it will be very much touch and go! Found programmes along the NEL though...

There is an enrichment provider called Nullspace Science which does DSA Preparatory programmes for admission to such schools. They cover robotics and other hands-on project-based learning programmes which you guys might be interested in.


Their programmes are highly sought after according to other parents I have spoken to. Just signed my kids up last week!
