My wife will b bringing my boy on Admin Day. I do think that the boy is supposed to go together with 1 parent.

Hello! I emailed the school to check, but the school states that the child is not allowed to enter with the parent to \"minimise contact and any transmission of the virus\". 😞

If your wife is going alone with the child, better clarify with the school...

Both hubby and I will be going, but I'll be with my boy, while hubby does the admin, cuz intend to go do all the admin stuff (uniforms, etc) thereafter.

Icic. Tks for the info. Since there is a requirement to minimise contact, are you allowed to go the school togethet with ur hubby and son?

Btw, i tot we have to buy the uniform fr bili bala .
We will be waiting at Balmoral Plaza (I want to go Waffletown) then go Bibi Baba at Far East Shopping Centre after that.

Cuz since both hubby and myself have taken the day off, so making full use of it to do whatever necessary...

Hi parents, my boy will also be joining ACS next year. Anyone knows if the child can tag along for School Admin Day? The letter says only 1 parent allowed, but says nothing about the child.

Am wondering how to orientate our boys around the school next year since no orientation, no school visit :(. It's gonna be daunting for them to go from a kindy compound to such a big school campus.

Nanhua, SNGS, Rosyth,Pei Hwa requires balloting for 2A1.

delta for rosyth and PH is around 24-25 as compared to 2018 or 2019.

I'm new here - What does 24-25 mean? What's the unit?
Hi parents!

Newbie here. I have a 2014 boy and am considering my options for next year's intake. My hubby is an old boy and he joined OBA. He has the membership card, so I assume we qualify for 2A1? I read some of you mentioned a letter from OBA, but I don't know if he has that.

We live outside 2km and don't intend to move. However, from my past reading, I think we are quite safe regardless of distance in Phase 2A1?

Also my hubby has a preference towards ACPS as compared to ACJS. Are there any school fun fairs that we can go to get a general sense of both schools? I know everything is cancelled now because of the coronavirus, but if someone could share the event and the period when it is likely to happen, that would be great, so that I can keep a lookout. I assume the respective calendars on the school website would be the best place for me to track such information?

Lastly, where can I find out more information re student care? I look at the Epworth website, but there is not much.

Thanks so much and stay healthy 🙂

Firstly, get the letter from OBA, and at least 1 year membership. ACSP 2A1 should be safe , or might need balloting for >2km. And we can’t compare that with ACSJ as OBA doesn’t applies, so either 2B or 2C and if you are >2km, can forget it. Epworth has basic student care facilities, food, games, spelling, Ting Xie, homework, and if time allows, assessment books. They are sort of non-profit center so we can’t expect much.

I think there ought to be some clarity and more info is required.

Is the husband a former student of ACSI, ACS BR, ACSP or ACSJ? Anyone who has attended any of the ACS schools for at least one year is eligible to join ACSOBA. However, only ACSP old boy is eligible for ACSP Phase 2A2 application. Status-ship is not transferrable, i.e. an old boy of another ACS school would not be eligible for Phase 2A1/2 in ACSP.
Oh! Thanks for clarifying. I didn't realise that and my hubby obviously didn't know as well. I'm from MGS (Sec) and our alumni status is valid for primary school admission, so I assume it would work the same in ACS too.

Anyway, he is ACPS and ACSI old boy. So that qualifies us for 2A1?

What is this letter from OBA? What does the letter state? That he is an old boy of ACPS? That he has been accepted in OBA? Do we have to specially ask for a letter from OBA?

Hi I recently registered my 18mo to start at the YMCA childcare at Blk 225 Bukit Batok. Surprisingly, there are no reviews of this childcare at all. Anyone’s kids at this cc care to share any feedback? Thank.
