    • RE: All About Health Insurance

      grownupbaby:
Could someone help me with the following:

      .
May I know if I need to get supreme health first then total health? Or can get just total health without supreme health? My agent went MIA. Thinking of changing to another one.... šŸ˜ž

Is it really worth to go for the private health insurance or the medishield life is sufficient. Sometimes I think it is not worth paying for the premium for the private insurance without using it....

      Please advise.

      Thanks.
Supremehealth is the main plan, Total health is the one that covers co-insurance and deductibles.
So sorry that your agent went MIA. Mine is from an independent advisory firm so my agent compared the various plans that and recommended one that is suitable for me. You can contact her at 97108956. Her name is Grace

    • RE: How much is enough for retirement in Singapore?

Frankly, best to consult an independent financial advisor who has access to a wide network of insurers / fund-houses (for investments). Let me know if you need my help šŸ™‚

Anybody bought any plan specifically for retirement? I was introduced to a few but unsure which is the most value for money.

      Tks
I have! Mine is a Retirement Income plan that allows me to choose a continuous monthly payout of 10/20/30 years when I retire at 65.

As I'm privy to the retirement plans available in the market, I did a quote and this is the most value for money (for me).

If I struck tomorrow's Toto and got 2.2 million before taxes, is it enough for retirement?

Haha really depends on your age, your desired age of retirement, and your desired amount during retirement. Once these factors are known, there you can do a simple calculation of time value of money to project if 2.2million is enough for your retirement šŸ™‚

Anyone is familiar with investment or savings plan that are good?

For investment, it really depends on your risk appetite and time horizon.
If you are risk adverse, then retirement income plans / endowment plan are not too bad.

Regardless, I've done my research on the various retirement income plans and endowment plans available so I'm privy of which company has the best yield šŸ™‚ I can share with you more in person if you'd like!

do u guys buy PA alone for yourself or for kids too?

Depends. Some plans have free child cover if both parents are insured on the same plan, and the coverage is about 25% of the sum assured instead of the full sum assured.

However, there are babies/kids plans that are catered to that age group, and have additional features like childcare / school reimbursement for the time that the kid is sick at home.

So really depends on what you are looking for. So far PA Star is quite affordable and comprehensive. Most of my clients who have babies or young children opt for it. šŸ™‚
