Btw, do we have to order all of the books & everything else on the list?

I'm Catholic, however my daughter has not been baptised yet. The Catholic class is not compulsory but anyone can attend (if want to). My daughter is going to attend the class.

We have just received our letter for Orientation and assignment of class and house. May I know what’s the difference and purpose of the house? TIA!

I'm living in AMK and still have not decided on the mode of transport yet and if to put her into student care. If the school bus' pick up is too early, I would be most probably sending her to the school myself. I have 2 daughters and 2016 would be my eldest. So, it's my first experience as well.

I have just done my registration for MCS this afternoon and while I was there, I witnessed the practicing of the Rhythmic Gymnastics children.
They are real good and my girl was so attached with watching them she refused to leave.
The only problem I had was the children sitting down all around the lobby, next to the driver's passage ways, while waiting for ?bus to pick them home… Is this always like that or is this so disorganized due to the holding site infrastructure? I also don't see teachers following them to wait for the buses.
One more, as this holding site is very old (in fact I was in the same holding site years ago while my school was renovating)… The lights are so bad along the corridors and passageways. Is there any potential problem / issue on this?

Anyway, I am glad and I hope we could form some chat here to build some rapport for future info sharings etc.

Me and my daughter were there too and yes she was amazed with the practice. I've been showing her pictures through MCS FB and that day it was the first time she saw them in (real) action

Apologies, I didnt really kind of elaborate clearly. Mine was kind of different as we are currently staying overseas, so we can actually send our registration online or at Sg embassies. For us, we need to submit at least a week earlier if I remember correctly. We are registering under Phase 2C, so Im not sure is it able to withdraw from earlier phase. We are still waiting for our result.

Just email to MOE and change our choice of CHIJ Toa Payoh to Marymount under 2C.

MOE kindly informed us to re-consider as CHIJ TP is under 1-2km range. We have Hong Wen as our alternative choice as is within 1km but in the end, we choose Marymount (>2km).

MCS is a great school (only drawback is no affiliation, sigh!) and the gals are polite and happy. Teachers and principals / VP are approachable and understanding.

Phase 2C is historically no problem whatsover, and there's still vacancies after all the SC and PR who applied got in successfully. Phase 2CS is riskier. All the best! [/quote]Hi elmo80 : Phase 2C and we are more than 2km..so anxious!!
