RE: Comparing Chinese Enrichment (Primary/Preschool)
hquek:
I only saw in that one shop hor. The box is fairly big under cartoon tray - pack 1 is episodes 1 to 50, etc etc; not all packs there (only have like 1, 4,5 if it's still there). Tried to find in another cd shop in TPY but they dun stock.
5 DVD for $19.90 is cheap! I was at Northpoint the day before and it was selling at $11.50 per DVD (5 DVDs altogether). I should head down to TPY today!jemlth:
I actually saw some in Toa Payoh...hmmm, the cd shop that is below 'Oldtown coffee'. 50 episodes (5 dvds) for $19.90 (that's the sticker price, I didn't ask them), limited packs available. They also have other cds with lesser number of episodes.
in any case, dangdang sells these also - I think plus postage also quite cheap.
I've recently bought it from dangdang through a spree. It's a box of 4 DVDs which cost about $7.00. Shipping for this set is only $1 to Singaproe. -
RE: Insurance protection
For Term insurance, you may consider buying the SAF Group Insurance from Aviva. I think this is one of the cheapest Term insurance I’ve came across.
Your hubby (serve NS before) needs to be insured first and you as spouse will enjoy cheaper rate.
For the example above, for 100K Term - hubby will pay $12.80 per mth while spouse will pay only $10.00 per mth. I’m extracting this from an old brochure which I have with me now. -
RE: Travel: Australia - Melbourne
I was in Melbourne last Dec. We stayed at the Darling Towers on Collins in Melbourne City. Booked through their website and got quite a good rate for a 2 bedroom apt with kitchenette. Highly recommend as it’s smack in the middle of the shopping belt and easily accessible to train station and eating outlets.
For Great Ocean Road, we stayed at the Whitecrest Ocean Road. This is more pricey but it has a fantastic view of the Great Ocean Rd. -
RE: Travel: Thailand - Phuket
There’s a Dino Park - a mini golf club. My son loves it and we visited 2 nites there.
