Although everyone says Phase 2A2 is very safe, nothing beats the actual confirmation from the admin staff earlier. You know how it is....must submit and see and hear with own eyes & ears that all documentation proofs are in order. :lovesite:

I think the intake for CHS is the same as last year...210 max. The intake for Phase 1 and Phase 2A1 was surprisingly overwhelming, leaving a mere 62 vacancies. So all of us may subject to balloting if the application for these 2 days exceed 62! :xedfingers:

BTW, ClubNako posted under Bishan schools earlier that there was a high turnout for registration for CHS today!

Just to share that we're done with the registration today! So relieved that all documents and photocopies were intact earlier. Saw some parents submitting without photocopies...that caused a slight delay in the queue. :roll:

CHS updates vacancies on its notice board very quickly after the end of each phase. If you are really excited, pop by on Friday evening and check it out.

Can we just walk in to check on the notice board? Is it the one outside the General office?

I am also going to register my son in CHS under Phase 2B, within 1km. Cant really believe that the year with the lowest birthrate and yet the take up rate is the highest in the last few years.


we have no backup plan at all.... sigh...

Must start checking and have backup plans. Can check out Maris Stella which you also qualify under 2B.

any parents here has experience with CHP? I am quite surprise that the TUR is so high this year given that 2004 has the lowest brithrate ever. After Phase 2A1, there is only 62 places left for Phase 2A2. I am in Phase 2B.


It is really our bad cos all along we were thinking that Phase 2B + living within 1km is a safe bet. It seem like there may not even be a phase 2B. Oh gosh. Are there any good schools in AMK/Bishan area which any kind souls can recommend. I must start making backup plan now. Sigh.... This is a real stressful experience. Now I finally understand why all parents are so kan chiong over this P1 registration thingy.

Yes agreed that CH has exceptionally high intake for Phase 1 and 2A. We fall under 2A2, and already feel the heat as well.
As you are catholic, you can consider Maris Stella High
