yes! Zumba dance is one that can burn a lot of calories. do come join us during the school holidays and get a brand new you coming new year. me mysef has lost more than 12kg during my whole journey without taking supplements and it has been consistent maintenance though the last 3 years. just normal meals and exercise. Zumba is one that you wont get tired of as there is always nice music and you wont even feel you are exercising.

its best to have guidance for yoga poses if you are a newbie. important not to do yourself at home (if you are new) esp if you have no mirror to see if the posture is right or not. I also start not long to do it with the guidance of my yoga instructor.
for weight loss, its always advisable both exercise and diet works together. Dieting as in eating the right food, not hungry strike kind.
