      Thanks elenang.

May I know whether did you buy your boots online?
If yes, can share which web site to go for such boots?
      Thanks.

Uniqlo heattech is enough? Will go take a look.
I’ve not use them before but thinking to get them as spares since don’t think I can wash and dry when I’m there.

Just book my Finland trip for December 2017, understand that it will be very cold, may I know what brand of winter jacket and boots is more suitable for the weather there?

      Thanks.

    • RE: Travel: Japan - General

      HI,

      Need help and suggestions in
      (1) hotel in Osaka and Kyoto in December 2016
      (2) planning to have 5N in Osaka and 5N in Kyoto and make these two places as the base. Is this enough to cover the major attractions? Any other suggestions?
      (3) Any itinerary to share relating to Osaka and Kyoto? Planning to go

      <<<OSAKA>>>
      Osaka Castle
      Universal Studios (** must see)
      Osaka Aquarium (** must see)
      Tennōji Park (** must see)
      Umeda Sky Building
      Namba Parks (** must see)
Osaka Science Museum (** must see)
      Shitennoji Temple (四天王寺)
      Shinsekai (新世界)

      <<<KYOTO & NARA>>>
      Kinkaku-ji Temple (金閣寺, Golden Pavillion)
      Arashiyama (嵐山) (** must see)
Fushimi Inari Taisha (伏見稲荷大社) (** must see)
Todai-ji Temple (東大寺) (** must see)
      Sika Deer in Nara Park
      Higashimuki Shopping Street (東向き商店街)

IF I would like to go Shirakawa-go, enough time? Or should I extend my trip by another 1-2 days?

Many thanks in advance for all inputs.

When will CCA commence for Y1?

Until now only got and returned the Uniform Group option form, how about the other CCA?
      How to apply?

      Thanks.

      cindyll:

If I remember correctly, I think my son mentioned something like Min COP 240 & above for RSP

Meaning ACSI actually lowered the COP for RSP from 250 to 240, to encourage more people to take RSP??

      Delecto:

Information can be found in the orientation booklet that list down the boys itinerary.
If your son satisfy the following criteria:
      1) psle 250 and above
      2) Singapore citizen
      3) did not study Malay/ higher Malay as MT in school

Then, you can attend the regional studies programme briefing at 1230-1315

For the rest of the parents, there is the PSG workshop \"what to expect in Y1- a parent's perspective\" at 1315-1500

1500-1630 will be talk by principle and the rest of the school staff

1655-1725 will be the badge ceremony

If u r interested in Music Elective Programme, the briefing will start at 1735-1835

Hope that answer your enquires. 😄

For parents with kids in Regional Studies Programme and/or Music Elective Programme, can share more on these two programmes?
Is it taxing to have additional programmes?

      Thanks in advance.
