I have the following ATS uniform to give. Not for fussy as all have stains of varying degrees after wearing for a year or two, not sure if it will go away after bleaching/washing. Name label has been removed, you can sew on your own.

      PE t-shirts
      Size 26 X 1 (suits P1)
      Size 30 x 3
      Size 32 x 3

Blue pants suits P1/P2. No stains but zipper head has spoilt. Needs replacement.

PM me if you fancy any. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing. Good to know that there are lockers in every classroom for use. For things like books and stationeries, it makes sense to put them under their desk. But after PE and after the kids changed back to uniform, I would think it will be good to keep the PE shirt with all the perspiration in the locker than under their desk. If everybody simply put those under their desk, the classroom probably will have a funny smell. Maybe I'm thinking too much..haha.

Are the classrooms locked when not in use? I vaguely recall seeing keypads outside classrooms which I assume that only students in that class has the access codes.
I went to ask my boy. Each classroom has a lock with unique password. They can set it to unlock from inside and supposed to lock the classroom when they leave the room e.g. for PE lessons.

Does anybody know whether there are lockers for rental in HCI?
My son said that there are lockers in every classroom. No need to register or rent. He said it is under utilised as people tend to just put their items under their desk and things wouldn't go missing.

Actually I think there is no ( ) for HCL score at the end of the COP is because the COP happens to be at the 12 grade, hence, all those with 12 points and took HCL with Pass and above have been accepted into the school. So the next batch is those grade 12 with no HCL.

Those with grade 12 will have priority before 11 (D).

Anyone keen to get lower secondary shorts for free? I can give mine away if you don’t mind preloved MSHS shorts. Need to bleach if you want it to look newer.

My son is progressing to upper sec, change to wearing long pants next year.

      Thanks.

I suppose the written test, compo and games are all conducted in chinese?

After the selection, a letter will be given to indicate interest ?

Is it possible to drop out the 3 year programme any time? Any penalty or fees to pay if drop out?
Sorry for late reply but hope that it benefits other parents.

Selection are all in Chinese, for my kid's school, it is also about the interest level. Chinese standard need not be excellent but from what I observed, cannot be too poor. My guess is at least 85 marks and above.

If selected, parents will be notified via parents gateway. Then school will give parents a letter to sign to commit to the 3 year program. Cannot drop out midway. It's a commitment cause by P5 and P6, there would be considerations like tution and other homework. Need to stay back 1 day a week.

I think the condition for joining bicep is that student must take HCL all the way until PSLE. Which I think is a reasonable expectation since their Chinese foundation is not too bad in the first place. I don't know if there is option to drop HCL if someone is in bicep.

According to MOE's announcement, JC1 students academic year only starts on 3 Feb 2023. I am wondering for the IP students, will they be required to go to school in Jan? If so, is it for the whole month of Jan?

      Appreciate any experienced parents' advice.
At the parent's briefing last weekend, we were told that C1 students will return on 16 Jan. I think the MOE announcement applies to C2 students.

Groups are formed by class and selected by class form teacher so yes it can be a mixed group of boys and girls, IP and JAE.
      Thank you so much!
