How do we look for Cip activities? Will school inform us where to go to? How do we compute the 100 hrs, does it incl traveling time etc? Can we do say 50 hrs of CIP in sec 1, 30 in sec 2, 20 in sec 4 n none in sec 4 etc?

Precisely in my dd class, I am talking about pri section, almost the whole class go for tuition classes. A nunber of students come from well to do families. One quarter of the class goes to learning lab. My DD did well in her compo writing becos her tuition class train her the writing techniques. She says sch teacher never teach them such techniques in sch. If I were u, I will go for crescent. My neighbour’s daughter is in crescent n she seems to enjoy herself in the sch.

My daughter is in the st nicks primary section. I agree that most of the teachers are so so only though there are a few good teachers. The teachers just teach the basics and I find its not sufficient to cover for exams. My DD has to rely on tuition notes for exam.

Can anyone please tell me what are the good guide books and assessment books for sec 1 science.

Yeah should be. Many of the scholars in my school that come from china or Vietnam their relevant points accumulated in their school were transferred over here.

Just like to know, do the Sec teachers really teach at St Nicks Sec and if most of their students go for tuition? As much as possible, I want to have no more tuition when my DD goes to secondary, I want her to study independently.

Normally what time do the activities end on the reporting day? If we were to appeal to other schools, I guess we do not have to purchase the textbook and uniforms on that same day n I guess we can appeal from 20 dec onwards?
