Wondering how girl guides earn their CCA points?

Has anyone tried the Science classes at LP? Do they emphasize on answering techniques, keywords used etc? Do their worksheets cover MCQ?

Need some advice here.


My Sec 1 girl does not like her CCA, if she completes her CCA in Sec 1 and change to another CCA in Sec 2, will she lost her CCA point she gains in Sec 1?

She spent 1 month going for her CCA everyday to prepare for a competition, the team did not win any award and as such, the teacher told them there would not be any CCA point given for this competition. She was very upset as her main reason to join the competition is to gain CCA points. I am going to speak to the teacher on that but could someone please advise me if the team does not win any awards at the competition, shouldn’t they be given some kind of "representation" points under Achievement?

I have been paying the Jun and Dec school bus fares for the past 6 years to the St Nicks bus drivers. There was once when my DD had a school activity (for the whole level) during the school holiday and the school driver did not come and pick my DD up, reason given was I did not inform the school that my DD had activity in school, ok, that was probably my fault. Another time was even worse, I called up and inform them about fetching my DD to school during a school holiday, they actually asked me to send my DD to school myself, because there was only one student (my DD) they were fetching and that would "waste the petrol" by sending one student only!!

I do not allow maid to pray or fast in my house, they have to agree to this before I employ them, so far, all my maids are fine without praying and fasting.

My DD like to joins club as CCA. If she did not manage to get any leadership position within the CCA, I would assume she can only earn participation points. Will that amount to 1 pt after 4 yrs? And assuming she has completed 100 hrs of CIP activities within the 4 years, does it mean she will be able to earn 2 CCA points (1 pt for her CCA, 1 pt for her CIP) after 4 years?
