    • RE: All About Full-Time Maids

Have anyone engaged west java maids before? I was being recommended a west java maid from kawarang who has worked in Saudi for 2 years and Kuwait for another 2 years. She looks pleasant on the picture and has worked in big house and take care of young children before. Mine is a 3 storey terrace house as well and I have young kids. I was also being recommended by another agency for a maid from Cilacap. A fresh maid. I would prefer the West Java maid as she has some overseas experience and they are both on the same salary $380 however there are people who has told me that west java maids are naughty and vain and some practice black magic. Is that true? Anyone who has hired west java maid appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

      The Alternative Story:
      homeworkmummy:

      Hi TAS

since you will be moving to a bigger place, can you consider opening a class purely for creative writing esp for higher primary?

      Hi homeworkmummy,

We actually do not have such classes. However, for the North Branch
since we are opening the most classes there, we might consider it.

If we have 4 pupils of the same level wanting only creative writing, we
      might start one.

Presently, we have 3 more classes opening at Yishun:

      1) Sunday 11.50 am - 1.50 pm (P1-2011)

      2) Sunday 11.50 am - 1.50 pm (no fixed level yet)

      3) Sunday 11.50 am - 1.50 pm (no fixed level yet)

The 2 classes with no fixed levels would open once
there are at least 4 students of the same level
wanting to join that particular class.

      TAS

      Hi TAS

thanks to revert on the timings. I am now asking around with my DD's classmates and a few have expressed interest but they want to check if there are any other timings available as the 3 timings that you mentioned are on the same day and at the same time.

Also, are there any parents out there who are interested in P5 creative writing class.

      Chengg:

He (DS1) was getting 23-25 over 40, after TAS, he got a range from 30-34 over 40. For DS2, he was getting 12-13 over 20 and then later he got 16 over 20 and then in P5, he got 30 plus over 40. However, we were with them for about 8 months and then had to pull out as we moved quite far away. But am thinking of putting him (DS2) back despite the distance as I cant find any other centre or tutor that can help him as much. DS2 is now getting about 27-28 marks. Can see that his writing is better but his interest is doing down, down and down and now he can't really be bothered and also his sentences are going back to his old boring style. 😞
(Anyway, only DS1 went for their science classes so I cant say for other levels. But for him, he improved a lot too but after quitting, we also found a home tutor that was also good)

But for my DD who is 9, she is very self-motivated and even without tuition, she takes older brothers' notes from TAS to study and can do well. So it also depends on your kids. How is your kid like, motivated?
My daughter is those that needs to be pushed. So would like to find a centre that can motivate her to improve on her writing skills. Heard that TAS has some creative writing courses during the coming Dec holidays so may want to try it out and see how it goes since so many people recommended TAS.
