Hi pls help with the following question and thanks in advance.
1. Adrian, Brian and Charlie had some money. After spending a total of $2900, they each had the same amount of money left. Adrian spent 20% of his money, Brian spent 25% of his money and Charlie spent $464. What percentage of his money did Charlie spend?
2. Thomas has a total of 408 blue and yellow marbles. He lost 3/5 of his blue marbles and bought another 32 yellow marbles. As a result, the number of yellow marbles he had was 1/4 of the number of blue marbles. How many more blue marbles than yellow ones had he at first?

Hi Cherrygalhi 8228
Your fees are exorbitant. My gal saw a senior consultant as a private patient and did many tests too... only in the $100++ range for first visit. Be careful not to go for doctors who appear on TV / newspapers too often...
can PM me the contact? -

RE: Q&A - PSLE Math
Is there something wrong with the following question? The question is extracted from Ai Tong paper CA1 2011. The total is actually more than 100%…
In a survey, some pupils were asked if they preferred volleyball or table tennis. 13/20 of the pupils chose volleyball, 75% of the pupils chose table tenis and 5% of the pupils did not chose any of the two sports. Given that 90 pupils chose both volleyball and table tennis, how many pupils took part in the survey? -
RE: All About Full-Time Maids
Thanks all for sharing your experience. I am hesitant giving her a radio because my ex-maid asked me for a MP3, I bought one for her. At first, she only used it at night. But after a few months, I noticed that she kept going to toilets very often and each time lasted at least 10 to 15 minutes. We found out that she has been going to toilet to listen to her MP3. So for this maid, I have become more careful. I will probably learn from some of you, look for a used radio (without any hand phones) and give it to her. I am still thinking if I should be keeping her radio during the day and only pass it to her at night after she finishes her chores but again it’s a hassle for me as well. Just worried that she will be "addicted" to listening to radio and become slackened as she loves to sing when doing the housework.

My Indonesia maid has asked me to buy her a radio using her salary. She has just completed her loan. Is it advisable to get a radio for her?
