My dd PSLE year still take RAD+ABRSM exams+competition. :siao: Actually when I look back, it's better to stop but no regrets.


My friend's son taking PSLE this year. My friend quit her job when her son is P5 to prepare him. She is good in cooking so I think her son enjoys delicious food everyday.
One of my tenent's daughter also taking psle this year. Told me they engage someone to coach their daughter almost daily :faint: The family rent :moneyflies: my property because it's walking distance to school. They want to buy time.

MOELC has library in Newton and bishan campus. Book arrangement :French books are under yellow.

There bookstore in campus as well. As for languages, I believe one has to do more reading.

I still a SAHM. No intention to go back to workforce at the moment. Dh can't coach dd but drive dd to school daily.


A friend's child fall sick during PSLE, this is all parents nightmare. So besides coaching dd, I make sure she sleep and eat well and drink lots of water. I got her oxgenated water and essence of chicken. On psle days, I didn't ask her what are the answers because it's over and what's done is done. I do not want to affect her/made her cry by nagging/scolding her because of any mistakes made. We move on revising the following day's paper.

Dd took psle last year, has no tuition. I resign my job mid last year to fight the battle with her. You have the whole of June holiday to prepare. 加油！

Under the T-score system, possible for a pupil to "save" for a weak subject by doing very well in other 3. The pupil can still get a good T-score with three very high A*s and high B. Under new system, the pupil may not benefit. So now means all 4 subjects are important and on top of that CCA are equally important.


During my time, one goes to school to learn. If you are weak in certain areas then go for tuition to get the extra help.
Nowadays, it seem the other way round, one gets outside help then goes to school to showcase, perform and get recognized.

Found the following but is 2015, I guess you have to wait for 2016 form to release. Please note they have promotion criteria(at least B4 grade in HCL+EL) if you child study in rvhs.
If non academic, at least 70% overall and \"A\" in Chinese( P5 year-end and p6 mid year).Have to take gat test.
Page3, under column:performing arts,ELDDS. English Literary, Drama and Debate Society (ELDDS)
If he is school prefect, can try under column:others, leadership.
