How about between Sec 3 literature \"Julius Caesar\" and \"Merchant of Venice\", which one easier to study ?
      I think same same.

The hardest plays are the comedies, because it's hard to explain humour, and many kids don't find the plays funny in the first place.

For Sec 3 literature, between \"Merchant of Venice\" and \"Macbeth\", which one is easier to understand (comprehend), or study ?

definitely Merchant of Venice, becos Macbeth involves deeper psychological analysis.

On the other hand, Macbeth has witches! Murders! Lady Macbeth! Maybe more exciting than the Merchant of Venice? 🙂

Do you also machine wash your newborn clothes? My sister is asking wants to know if she can machine was her child's clothes and if there are any cons in doing this.

Unless the baby has serious allergies or skin sensitivities, there is no problem washing them in the washing machine. I didn't separate infants' from other family members' clothes either. I know there are a lot of people with issues about this, but I can't see why, and both my babies were fine.

Yeah I chuck everyone's clothes into the washing machine all together, and we've all survived (even the baby with sensitive skin was fine).

      Err... no.

Say, you learn to speak French in a short time, then certainly it should be a stroll for Spanish, Italian as well?

They are testing very different functions (and GEP doesn’t have Chinese component).
Actually, yes, because they're all Romance languages. 🙂

      (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

    • RE: Which is better, same-sex or mixed school?

Depending on the individual girl, esp if she’s quite shy/soft-spoken/introverted, I’d say, learn to speak up. I think there is a slight tendency for boys to dominate group discussions etc if there are significantly more boys in the group, more so than if girls > boys. Depending on individual personalities of course.

I'm considering to bring my family to Ipoh next year. Anyone been there before?

      Is that Ipoh in Malaysia?

      Fairly typical Malaysian city.
Got good chicken rice and the famous hor fun though.
A good side trip to / from Cameron Highlands.

      Also got white coffee!

Corporal punishment should never be implemented when either party is still angry.
If I do (mea culpa), I apologize to the kid after.

Haha, just a thought that I threw out about pet cum childcare and it actually did not stop there as I also thought why not eldercare as well. 😂

But if I were to really explore further, it will not be all pets but only dogs. A doggy daycare that also covers obedience training.

Of course interaction between animals and kids will have to be controlled and purposeful. Not gonna be a petting zoo for kids to grope the animals and all.

Shelf this idea for DD. Maybe she can make it happen if she really stays on track with her Vet Med dream.
Co-locating eldercare and childcare - that's on-trend! Sounds like it's beginning to happen here too. https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/cnainsider/elderly-childcare-salzgitter-mother-centre-multigenerational-10824718
