ur DS2’s school is mixed or all boys school?


Mine is a mixed school

and the one who score highest in both Eng and HCL is a boy…how amazing!

According to my DS, last Friday English teacher gathered two classes (T2&T3) and announced the score in class one by one, according to my DS, 33/40 (or maybe 33.5/40) is the highest, 12 kids above 28 (2 classes) and teacher seems happy about it, as the result is slightly better than the mock paper.


No news about the HCL and science yet, but maybe tonight will get to know. Same as Dagong, my DS asked me not ask him about HCL as he feels \"sucks\"

You make me feel so much better, I tot my DS2 is the only one, but on the serious side, with that kind of score, how to DSA ?

your DS1 is also GEPper?
According to what u know, is Eng result unpresentable all the yrs for most students?
My DS's class highest Eng result is below 80%.....
Science and Math got kids score full marks
Some students score HCL very high one....

anyone use BV? the lamb leather is so thin, is it easily worn out?

is it norm that Eng is hard to pass?
DS in P4 but according to their practise paper results, Eng is the toughest among all subjects.
THis time, all the teachers (except that CL results not out ) ask them not to compare....so duno the overall performance. :scratchhead:

To be honest, I really dun know if EL is the toughest as both my DSs results are always very \"shewed\" towards Math & Science ... So if both dun do well in languages, I wouldn't be surprised. But for last year, we got to see the highest, average & the lowest score when we received the report book. may i know from which level (P4 or P3) onwards, the school require te students to use pens instead of pencils? does it apply to all the pri schools?

Yes, for 1st round it's conducted during curriculum time. 2nd round is during PSLE marking days. No harm taking the tests. Can still opt out of prog if make it thru 2nd round.
