I took my kids, 12 years old girl and 9 years old boy, to Harbin and even colder place, Snow town last Dec. Kids can adjust well to cold weathers. Boots, scarfs are must. Once we were back to Beijing for flight back to SG from Harbin and the Snow town, Beijing’s winter is nothing to them at all. So no need to worry at all, and have a pleasant trip ahead!

RE: 2014 Request for Advice on Selecting Secondary Schools
My DD gets 255+2, may not be able to go to NYGH, so second choice should be St NIC or NJC, SCGS will be 4th.followed by cedar girls and RVHS. Do not know which one to put 2nd choice. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks.
