      Thanks KSP

Anyone know why is SNGS so hot? Its results are not super fantastic at all? Other than straight through to the Sec school, what are the other factors making it so hot? I see the same thing for PLMGS and MGS and prob the CHIJ families but they are not as hot as SNGS

Thx for advice! I was quite daunted by the application form actually. Knowing the rate of success, I’ll probably not give it a try.

How about SNGPS & SCGPS? Anyone got accepted as PV for P1 2011 already thanks

Has anyone tried and had been successfully accepted by Nan Hua as PV for P1 2011? Is the selection process very rigorous? Filling up the form makes me feel like going for job interviews haha

    • JC or Poly?

      Hi Insider

Great ambition of your kid, not bad for someone who is only 16 yrs old.

I have friends who studied Biomed and currently working in the industry told me for careers in Biomed or careers involving research, it is very impt that the qualification sticks. Only PHDs are recognised and dare oing the research work. If someone plans to complete her education after degree, then the career path is indeed limited. Probably end up being research assistants or something like that.

So great to know that it is in your plan to put her thru PHD.

      hi

I may not have followed this thread closely due to the numerous pages but I wanted to ask mummies and daddies who had been selected for PVs before; about the time taken by the school to confirm the results of the PV application.

I have sent mine in for 2 schools since late Nov/Dec for P1 registratation 2010 but still have not heard anything from the schools. I am wondering if I should call the schools?

    • RE: Mummy nonKiasu: Hello. Here's nonKiasu Mummy

As I am working full-time and I place them at my nanny’s place, together with my maid, I have to place them at the nearest preschool around, which happens to be PCF (whatelse right?). So all 3 girls are in PCF.

My elder girl can write her name and some words and sentences (she was taught in school) although she is damn lazy and only enjoys playing make-beliefs at home.

      Hi Nonkiasu

I have a 4.5 yr old toddler and a pair of 2.5 yr old twins.
Like yourself, I am too busy with my 3 girls and full-time job to spend time doing enrichment with any of my girls. So, I really pay kudos to mamas like Tamarind and Emelyn....
My girls are happy just attending preschools and playing their dolls and make-beliefs at home 🙂 and weekend escapades with us.

      wow Kiasulang

You enrolled your toddler in so many courses, do you think the course works, ie your toddler is ahead of his peers due to these enrichment?

    • RE: Is PSLE so important?

      thanks for your opinion.

If it is indeed nature, why are parents nowadays so KS and KC about sending their toddlers to various enrichment at such a young age and discussing about pre-school curriculum for 2 years old here in this forum? I really can’t fathom this.
