I confess I’m an online shopping addict as well. As for favourite sites, I’m a huge Qoo10 fan, mainly because of the range of items there. I get many different things, ranging from tech devices, food and even milk powder for my kids there.
Also love their version of PokemonGo! (called MameGo!) which lets you play to win greater discounts on your purchases. Great fun and very interactive - the kids love it.

RE: All About Working With Children Who Are Weak Academically
concernmother:
Don't believe in study groups either, unless it's a study pair or trio (a smaller group basically). Sometimes our children need their friends to keep them accountable, but most of the time, it dissolves into a big social gathering.august24:
My niece, who is in sec 1, is also like that. No discipline, slept late (1-2am) cos either surf net or watch tv, dream in class, always sms etc. I think this being her 1st yr in sec, still getting used to it, plus no control fr parents. They complain abt her attitude, but did not take action to stop her late nights or hp usage. Hope she keep to her promise to buck up. Now she form study groups with her friends. :xedfingers:
i never believe in study group. 3 hours studying in a group, only 15 minutes of focus. Soon there will be updates of photos in facebook and tweet. -
RE: What is your dinner?
melissa88:
My youngest don't like to eat veggie, and my eldest don't like brown rice. I trick them into eating healthy by making tomato brown rice. Basically just cook brown rice together with a tomato inside the rice cooker, then once the rice is cooked just stir everything together. The tomato gives the rice more flavour and hides the brown rice taste a bit! It's really yummy and easy to make also!
Brilliant idea! Sounds like the healthy version of baked rice sans the cheese haha. Thank you for sharing

RE: DIY or Group Tours?

Tours are to relax and enjoy and not to complete a mission.
100% agree. No need to visit x number of places for me to feel fulfilled -
RE: All About Bullying
So distressed reading some of the incidents brought up in this thread. As a parent of 2 children, it would kill me if my children either were bullied or are bullying people. Bullying in any capacity should not be condoned and all parents should take a firm stance on this.

RE: Which Country Suitable For Young Children?
Hong Kong is a great option! Half of it is city (like Singapore, except with better food), which is quite safe for children. The other half is made up of hiking trails, which is a great idea for a family outing. We only get the likes of MacRitchie and Bukit Timah in Singapore, so a chance to take on some more challenging trails is always great. Also a good idea if you’re into healthy family activities.
And if you’re worried about children not having the energy to hike, go in the winter period (Nov - Feb). The lack of sun and heat makes it a lot easier and more enjoyable.
