We will use the 1st and 2nd lessons of every new topic to teach the basic concepts unique to the topic. For example, for topic on Length in P3, we will begin with teaching unit conversion, measurement operations, estimation etc.

Thank you for your interest in our programme. Below is how we structured our programme.

Preschool - JEIMath (Focus is arithmetic concepts and its applications) - 2 hours
P1 - JEIMath (1 hour) + PSLEMath (1 hour)
P2 to P6 - PSLEMath (Focus is analytical skills in heuristic problem-solving) - 2 hours

JEIMath is prescribed according to the child's learning gaps. As such a diagnostic test is required.
PSLEMath is delivered according to MOE syllabus.

My Neighbour heard from a teacher in the Ang Mo Kio branch that PSLEMath is opening a new centre at Kovan. Any information on who will the Teachers be? Are they from their current Centres. I am hoping certain Teachers from the Ang Mo Kio branch will be teaching there :xedfingers:

In this coming SA1 all P5 and P6 students will be tested on Ratio. One of the commonly tested type of ratio question is one that involves "All Element Change". We have posted a video link on our Facebook page that explain in detail the mechanics of solving this type of question. We strongly encourage all P5 and P6 students to watch this video and understand the mechanics before SA1.

Common Mistakes With \"Time\"


It is a common mistake among students to present addition and subtraction of time and time duration as number statements.

Error Example 1:

8.10pm + 2h 20min = 10.30pm

Error Example 2:

8.10pm -> 8hr 10min
8hr 10min + 2hr 20min =10hr 30min
10hr 30min -> 10.30pm

The PSLE accepted presentation is using the time line.

SA2 is around the corner. Questions relating to time are usually not difficult and it would be a pity to lose precious marks because of presentation.
