Hi , may I know for children going into St Gabriel's & Cedar Primary in 2019, did those in 2C have to ballot? What about 2C(S)? Did anyone in 2C(S) get to go in? Anyone know the stats? Considering between St Gab and Cedar Primary. Thanks!

Refer to page 348 of this thread here for St Gabriel’s balloting stats for 2C, kindly provided by forummer vivi_vivi:

Updated: Cedar had 83 seats left at phase 2C(S). ALL applicants at all distances for 2C(S) got in safely. [Cedar had increased its intake to cater to Dragon year. It certainly has the capacity to maintain or increase further if demand from Bidadari residents spikes.]

Thanks so much Zac's mum. Considering my backup plan. Stress liao.

      Hi Jeu.

Yes, < 1km also had to ballot.
I can't really remember whether there was anywhere that we had to indicate whether home is rental or owned.
Oh dear...dragon year. Thanks for your reply.

Anyone looking to enrol their son in SAJS next yr? Anybody knows whether SC < 1km need to ballot or all managed to go in for this year? And do they give any preference to rental or home-owner units?

I am assuming you are referring to Phase 2C, balloting within 1 km for 2018 registration.
Vacancy was 53 and 78 registered, let's assume all registered are within 1km.
It will just get more difficult in coming years with Bidadari new estate and lots of other new condo nearby.

Thanks for the stats. Appreciate it.

Sorry I don’t know the stats for this year.

But there is no difference in priority whether you are renting or own the place. Just make sure your rental contract ends no earlier than 30 months from date of registration (July 2019).

Thank you for your inputs 🙂

Hi, may I know if the ballot results for 2018 P1 registration is out? Only see 2017 one. I need to know abt SAJS phase 2C. Did all the <1 km registrants get in? Also for parents who just registered your kids in any primary schools, did the forms indicate that you’re in a rental or home owner? THanks!
