Distance is not a phase. Phase 2C is for generic application (Sporean & PR) who does not have any relation to the school.
For 2018 dragon year, balloting for Phase 2C for 1km-2km

I have a pair of twin girls… I was thinking of sending them to CHIJ- Lady of Native in Hougang.
It will be under phase 2C within 1KM from my address.
Can anyone enlighten me if there is any balloting needed for phase 2C in this school for the past year? or where can I look for the information.

I am totally new here but am trying my best to read to learn but I need help for one question.

I’m residing within 1km of Mee Toh School and have served at Punggol Horizon RC since 2015 and now an appointment holder. My aim is for a Phase 2B. But I heard the now with the new rules, school applied for must be in same constituency as the RC so may I check if anyone knows if Mee Toh Sch is in the same constituency as Punggol Horizon RC ?

Anyone looking to enrol their son in SAJS next yr? Anybody knows whether SC < 1km need to ballot or all managed to go in for this year? And do they give any preference to rental or home-owner units?

Sorry I don’t know the stats for this year.

But there is no difference in priority whether you are renting or own the place. Just make sure your rental contract ends no earlier than 30 months from date of registration (July 2019).

I am assuming you are referring to Phase 2C, balloting within 1 km for 2018 registration.
Vacancy was 53 and 78 registered, let's assume all registered are within 1km.
It will just get more difficult in coming years with Bidadari new estate and lots of other new condo nearby.

Huh? The distance from Ghim Moh to Novena is not very far. If I had to choose between that guaranteed seat at SJIJ (which is a 15-min drive away)...vs...balloting odds of ~1in2 or even 1in3 for Henry Park, definitely will go for the guaranteed seat. Unless I have some younger daughters without alumni priority. Then maybe I will take my chance at balloting.
