Yet another question…
For LSVEP/CVE, is the class going to be split into two, one attending LSVEP(Life Skills & Value Education Program) and another CVE(Catholics Values Education)? Or all the students are required to attend both LSVEP/CVE together?
If LSVEP is meant for non-Christian students, then what textbook do they use? I couldn’t find anything related to LSVEP in the book list.
Thanks

RE: Marymount Convent
Two quick questions:
1) DD has Art & Craft class tomorrow but there is nothing written in her Helpmate. Are we supposed to pack anything for that…? Color pencils and drawing block?
2) Anyone’s DD is in One Responsibility?
Thanks

happymom2:
Thanks, michyms! Good to know that there's free dental services in the school. Anything else we newbie parents should know about MCS?
Will the school contact us regarding orientation? It's on 17 Nov @ 8:30am but other than that, no other info provided. Pardon the questions, we are going through this for the 1st time so really don't know what to expect. TIA!
Hi happymom2,
The orientation is fixed on 17 Nov??? Where did you get this information? Am not aware of it at all... -
RE: [Bishan] Primary Schools
I think you are as good as in. At 11am yesterday when I called Kuo Chuan, I was told there were 77 SC out of the 101 applicants. Don’t think there would be extra 31 SC joining in the last two hours…

RE: [Ang Mo Kio] Primary Schools
Hi,
We moved over to AMK a year ago and honestly we are not very familiar with the primary schools around the area. We have checked through the web sites of all the schools but since we couldn’t do PV, the top two popular ones are already out of our choices (not going to them for 2C too since we are > 1km)
Can someone help explain why the "popularity" of the following 4 seemingly good schools (at least from the websites) is not really high? Some friends pointed the reason to "being the neighborhood school" but I am not really sure…
Ang Mo Kio Primary\t\t
Mayflower Primary\t\t
Teck Ghee Primary\t\t
Townsville Primary
Any information would be greatly appreciated…
