    • RE: All About Primary Schools' Balloting History

      Hi,

Can I ask if we can put waitlist on the schools we are balloted out in 2c and 2cs. Assuming both also unsuccessful. How does the school determine who are the priority since many will put on waitlist too. Thanks πŸ™‚

    • RE: All About Home Addresses

      Hi

We plan to rent a place within 1km of the desired school next year b4 the registration, can we just rent a unit first without moving in first? If ballot successful will move in if unsucessful then break lease and continue stay at current place. Wonder is this workable? Another general question, what if the owner sell off the rented apartment within a few months and we are asked to leave, we r still safe if we shift to another place within 1km right? Assuming balloted in. Appreciate some pointers on it. Thanks

Ok got it thanks for the advice. Yes i do have 1 boy. We have the intention to shift to ats n mcs area prob when the elder enter p1 depending on which school. Next year will be a bit rush plus she is in the middle of k2 might be disruptive for my girl.

Oh i thought 2A2 will take into considerations of distance too. Like this year only 7 places left. If i m more than 2km most likely is no chance for that 7 place? As for 2cs i can still choose mcs if my registered address still at sengkang? If i choose chij olgc, my no 2 to 4 i apply for alumni i will have issue on the logistics if they get in and my first one at chij olgc.

Yes true very limited property. And i will need to rent first as i cant sell my property yet. Mayb the plan will be within 1km to ats and marymount convent at 2cs. Is quite troublesome as will need to change the preschool too. I wonder are there other ways. Quite a headache.

    • RE: Choosing and Evaluating Primary Schools

Hi would appreciate some advice for next yr registration. Currently i am staying in sengkang and would like to shift to within 1 km to try for 2A2 at Ats, if unsuccessful will want to try for st nicks or ats within 1km range. If also unsuccessful will getting into marymount convent a safe choice for more than 2km away at 2cs?

Thanks for the analysis, yes most likely will need to shift just that my girl is k2 next year will be disruptive for her to change pre school. Guess we have no other choice too. Well we will have to manage the logistics too for number 1 and the rest of the kids if they r in different pri school. The worst case scenerio is unable to get to Ats in 2a2 and 2c and let my first girl go mcs. Is mcs a good school?
