This is my dilemma as Fernvale is within walking distance, the other two are not. Btw, may I know why Fernvale is not an option for you? Any comment on the school? I read that the school has changed the principal.

I am going to register for my elder son for P1 this year, my first choice is Seng Kang Green (<1km), given the fact that SKG is over subscribed heavily last year (need to ballot even stay within 1km). I'd need to have a backup plan. Below are the backup schools I shortlisted (based on past year result, should still have vacancy for 2C supp). Can parents here give me your thoughts about the schools and if you were me how would you set the back up priority? Thanks for your advice， much appreciated.

Fernvale primary school (<1km)
Palm View primary school (>1km, <2km)
Springdale primary school (>1km, <2km)
Anchor Green primary school(>1km, <2km)
Seng Kang primary school (>2km)

My boy will be registering for Phase 1 @ SKGPS. Regarding alternative plans, I would definitely go for Springdale or Palm View. Fernvale Pri will never be an option for me.

My boy is in MK@SK Green PM session and he attends Kcare too. He’s definitely vr happy in sch and always sing praises of his tchrs. I was actually amazed when he starts communicating with us in Chinese, this is something he have nv done so even in his previous cc. Im paying $160 for MK and $120 for Kcare. I’m also not aware of the additional charges involve since no memo issued.

I gave the tchr a call and requested to change. It also depends on tchr availability too. My younger one having Parents Teachers Meeting at MOE kindergarten on Thurs afternoon so might as well do it all on Thurs.

My boy also in 1F. 2 weeks ago he told me that he need to bring 1B Maths last Monday. I did not know this week suppose to bring 1b Chinese. Today I will check with him

Glad to know there is quite a few 1F parent here. I checked w Popular too regarding Chinese 1B. Stock will only be in mid-Jun. We wont be able to get it anywhere as it has yet to be released.

Parents of 1 Friendly, need help. Please advise are we supposed to return all e Chinese assessment papers and activity books on Monday? I actually think e Chinese teacher should at least get e kids to write in handbook of What is supposed to be done. My boy mentioned to bring back all on Mon and also to bring Chinese version 1B. My boy is in P1 @ SKGPS this year. E reason of me choosing this sch is I'm within 1km and new sch with new management will bring the sch to a greater height. Well facilities is new too.

She study from student care, last night she told me SC teacher did ting xie with her alrdy.
Now she is still adapting to new school so i take easy on her academic,
if got time then revise if not i just let her be
