I am new and I would like to ask if anyone can advise me on my below questions :

I am staying in Sengkang and below are the distance from my house to the schools below

1. Rivervale Primary School (1.4KM)
2. North Springs Primary School (1.1KM)

From the above schools, do you think I should try for Rivervale Primary School or I should just try for North Spring ? I understand that Rivervale is a popular school as compare to North springs, Currently anyone got any feedback or review on North Springs ?

At 1-2 km u have no chance with rivervale pri

No need to think about trying Rivervale Pri if you are not staying within 1km as those staying within 1km already need balloting (50% chances). As for North Spring Pri, will have vacancies even after phrase 2C Supp.

For phase 2b in nan chiau , you need to by hokkien huay kuan member's volunteer..staying at pungool even if you get to become HHK member you don't stand a chance at balloting at all..

this year P1, even staying within 1KM also have to ballot… wonder why neighbourhood school in Fernvale so popular since it is new school… they dont even has PSLE result to tell…

My boy is in P1 @ SKGPS this year. E reason of me choosing this sch is I'm within 1km and new sch with new management will bring the sch to a greater height. Well facilities is new too.
