Hey \"livewith_vanilla
Cheer up.
Its better to make the mistake than in the actual psle now, right?
I am always so glad that my dd makes tons of mistakes in normal test, and then she will min her mistakes in the real exam.
Its not the end of the world...jiayou...
cheers

Compassvale.
Update: Failed chinese composition, score Low A for chinese.
Very demoralized since I failed all the subjects by class standards(I'm in top class, top 5 students... so this time round's results is really really bad)
livewith_vanilla,
Chin up girl.
Some how Prelims are like that. In fact i have been talking and kinda of boosting some moms as they are very worried abt the child performance at prelims - each one is from a different school, but same story got marks far less than usual standard.
And frankly the reason I could do that was DD has not yet received her marks
, and now i am mentally prepared to see her marks ...
Prelims are meant to make u sit up and ensure kids dont slack. So dont worry too much . Feelings cant be helped. Cry it out and move on ...
Remember big battle ahead :rubhands:
And yes you can do it

Thanks MOE_Hater's mum!
This is my first time not scoring high due to the mistakes i made, such as writing the wrong topic for composition. But I can safely say that my English and Science has improved.
I think I'm only affected because the head prefect(who is very boastful) kept saying that she was better than me in everything, even though it was true in some ways. I'm not used to her boastings because she only scored second in level position just recently... She boasts alot whenever she beats me.
Well I will keep my morals up and beat her in PSLE!
Jiayous to every P6 taking their PSLE!
RE: Lied - Would you expose her???
Personally I will not expose the lies…Let them be.
We are not paid to give them a free tuitions as in lesson in life. -
RE: Any parents here ever felt pressurized by others?
Yawn
Me too.More slack with ds too.sleepy:
My dd2 went for English trial. Attended only 1 lesson. She really knows how to :siam:nonKiasu:
As there is a Kumon free trial last mth, we went for its math test and they said my DDs hv to start their worksheet on tracing the numbers bec they strokes are wrong (e.g zero must be anti-clockwise, 5 is not 1 stroke). Hmm, what's wrong, as long as everyone knows what my sons are writing! Eventually, I didn't go for their trial lesson as well bec don't quite in line with their methodolgy.
nonKiasu:
After going through p1 once with my dd1, it wasn't as scary as I imagined it to be. Perhaps that's why I'm more slag this time round with dd2I visited popular last mth and spend abt $80 (wow! And forgo my family day weekend) buying assignment books for my DSs! Ya, guess I have to be a bit more kiasu now.... have to start warming up the engine.... Better be late then never.

Anyone has tried booking a domestic flight from narita to hokkaido for holidays?
There after, how do u arrange and book a land tour from there?
Can someone please share with me your experience , thanks.
regards
Joy
Hi Joy
Getting domestic flight is easy. ANA is part of the Star Alliance with SIA. If you have frequent flyer points for redeemption, you can used that on the ANA! The best part is that, there is no airport tax for the domestic flights
Instead of doing land tour, why not go on your own? We just returned from Hokkaido this June. You may check out my travel blog for reference.

RE: Tao Nan
Hello TNS parents,
Did you notice two parking attendants are PETROLLING at 12 pm around the road near the round about?
One interesting phenomenon I spotted, all cars are crusising round and round the round about and all parents are super patient…cos still waiting for the kids to come out of the school.
I wonder does this actually cause more jam.Should do away with the two car park attendant instead. -
RE: Recommended English Books
