Hi,
it is definitely possible to teach P4 math… just really need to get the children to practice alot and teach them the various short cuts and rationale behind all the sums… hmmm if you need, i heard that Andrew Er’s assessments are not bad. You can try going through these with your children…

haha true true. I guess it has to be used moderately and people need to know when to keep it away. I just signed up for twitter nowadays. Quite cool. Cos many shops are now into twitter, so can get first hand info.
I have seen drivers speeding on expressway but eyes glue to their phones (SMS) and some even texting while drivingconcern2:
It's amazing what a phone can do these days. You have people crossing the road with their eyes glued to the screen, not just having earphones on!
When DH got his iPhone, less of our time is spent chatting over dinner table, cos his eyes will be glued to the screen. :skeptical:

The Julia Koh... do they have website?
Hello Ccelyn,mommsie101:
Can parents share your experience on how you celebrate your child's one year old birthday? My house is too small to invite relatives and friends. Buy my budget is low, hopefully below $250 if possible. Will have around 10 to 15 adults and less than 8 children.
Hi ccelyn,
hmm yeah, can book function room... cook up a few finger food etc... Since there will be children, maybe you can engage a party organiser for their services... if not the children will be bored
I was recommended this company by Julia Koh from the forum. Their packages are above $250.. but maybe they offer some individual services like games alone etc... I don't know. you can try!
they are very friendly.
Haha, the one I recommended mommsie101 is a company called SHMILY.
Let me know if you want their contacts.
