Hello kaka thank u for ur sharing, greatly appreciate! As SST is very new to all of us, it's a new learning journey for the kids and parents too.

Can I chk are the kids require to use their mac book alot for their projects and research? Do they have alot of stay back just like their upper pri school days? :evil:

Yes they use the mac everyday. With CCA and some long days, normally he will reach home about 6pm.. may have one or two short days when he can be back by 3 -4pm.

I'm new to this Fourm. I was looking for some feedback on the quality of preparation that is there in SST and i saw this link. My son has a CO from SSt starting from 2014 so im curious to know.
This year the first batch of students are taking the Olevel exam- Can any one please tell if the students were prepared enough for the exam as compared to a normal O lvl school ?
What about tuitions ? Do we send our kids to normal tuitions or any special centers to train for students from SST.
We attended the 'Day at SSt' yesterday and heard the VP and other people from the school but i would like to know directly from those who have direct experience of that school and their coaching methods .

I think the school prepares the students enough, teachers are helpful.
For tuition I think it depends on individuals needs. I understand the subjects are generally pitched at higher level of difficulty.
My son has a good time in SST. I believe this is the right school for him.

When my son was in sec 1 and 2, he had chinese and maths textbooks. The rest of resources were found in the school google site or school notes. In sec 3 and 4, there are texbooks for most subjects in preparation for O level.

I have two cousins who learnt piano to grade 8 because their parents insisted. They completed but seldom touch the piano … they will never consider teaching piano since they never liked it.
