I think you might stand a chance appealing for VJC arts but do bear in mind that going into Arts Stream practically eliminates your chance of getting a Science Degree in the future (Engineering, Applied Physics, Mathematics Science, Life sciences etc). If you are still unsure of what exactly do you want to take in Uni then i would recommend that you go for Science Stream instead as it is easy for a Science Stream student to get into a degree programme that is consider as \"Arts\" (Business, Economics, Psychology, Social Services etc) but not vice-versa.

All you have to do is just key in your COP into the system and all the available choice would be listed automatically for you!

Maybe you can try putting ACJC arts stream as your first choice then followed by other JC's science stream? Nanyang JC seems to be a good choice as it is located in the circle line too. But the other most important thing that you might want to ask yourself is what degree to you want to pursue when you are in Uni. If you are more interested in getting a Business, Social Sciences or Arts degree then being in the Arts Stream would be fine for you. However if your aim is to get a Science degree then I really wouldn't recommend that you get into AC's arts stream then try to appeal to science as it is a rather risky move because there is a high possibility that the school might not grant your wish.

Hmm...i am using m1 and the LTE reception is not bad. 75% to full bar when i am outside and 50% bar at home. Not sure why my house's reception is so bad but since i am using wifi at home its not a problem at all.

Speed-wise, mine DH did this speedtest thing for me and he say mine is quite fast. Like 20 mb or something. Hahaha i am not the technical guy in our household so not very sure of the correct term.

I think i was quoted $253 last time when i sent it for repair...plus the samsung people told me warranty doesn't cover for this as its wear and tear or something. :mad:

If he is pretty sure in taking up only a degree in economics, business and accountancy(?) then H1 or even Additional Mathematics would do the trick.

Thus taking up H2 maths would essentially keep his choices open for either a science or arts major in Uni. :rahrah:

Hmm i would not actually recommend that you try putting MJC as your first choice because i have a feeling that your chances of getting in is really very almost to zero since the COP difference is by 2. Moreover, putting MJC as a first choice may also jeopardize your chance of going to SRJC if the number of application to that JC is high this year.


Also, since going to SRJC instead of MJC would save you 30+ mins each journey, that would add up to 1+ hr per day and almost 6 hrs per week! :yikes: Given the heavy JC cirriculum i would advise that you go somewhere nearer and save the time for studies or relaxation.

hmm...for the limited choices maybe you can try appealing to poly courses that you are really interested in but are two to three points lower. They might let you in since your other subjects are not bad, just that your English pulled it all down. Might need to pass their interview or something, so find one that you really have passion in so they could sense your interest and maybe let you pass.

-Impression: crazy enthu spirit that's higly contagious. However, is it me, or are Victorians more self-conscious? I'm seeing so many with branded stuff.

-Impression: from what I've gathered, it's a more introverted society there, but offers equal opportunities for leadership.
