    • RE: Q&A - PSLE Math

Hi guys. If you are interested in getting tuition for your son or daughter for a primary school subject like maths and want to know how tutors calculate their rates then visit this site: http://www.tuition1on1.com/subjectrates.htm

They also have a http://www.tuition1on1.com/apps/links/ that is still under construction. They told me that they will be posting up free exam papers very soon.

I joined as a tuition coordinator for primary school subjects with them. If anyone interested in getting a tutor, you can pm me or if you are interested in joining as a coordinator, also can. :lovesite:

Well you could also consider incoporating music especially learning classicla music. There is alot of research showing that playing music engages and trains the whole brain. Ahh… now I remember. You should watch this episode of natgeo series My Brilliant Brain; born genius. There was this music prodigy who ended up becoming a neuroscientist or doctor(cant remeber exactly). He later did extensive research and found that there is no one activity that uses more parts of the brain than playing music.

      KS_me,

      :?
I think you should take this as a positive thing about your child. Because it is not always about obedience. as I mentioned earlier it could be that your child has alot of energy. Who knows maybe he is destined to be a distinguished sports man or maybe evn a celebrated musician. Its all about being +ve and channeling energy +vely.

    • RE: Improving Focus And Concentration

You could consider getting him involved in sports to give him an outlet to channel his extra energy. Music is also good for kids. It helps with focus, concentration and i.q. Maybe you should read moe about N.L.P. Just google it. That might help you better understand his learning style etc. I first came about neuro linguistic programming from Anthony Robbin's book.

Ther are some links on this site that talk about N.L.P. http://www.tuition1on1.com/apps/links/
But I suggest doing the sports thing first and also getting him to learn music. Personally, I find recorders boring. You should try the flute instead. It produces a more soothing sound its cheap and your son will probably find it fun since you can carry it any where.
If you are still interested with NLP just pm me. I hav more info.
