auntieM & Ponyo, i might hv not been very clear in explaining my prob. it is not the bottletrap under the sink but rather the main/sewer line.underneath the sink, the water will drain into the sewer line. The slow drainage occurs at this point.but, i did my research & found out that those gel/powder types must be used with care cos it might corrode the adhesive.and also the snake especially those electric type must be used with care. sigh!!!
