Maybe he was trying to take a self-portrait via handphone, digital camera or webcam, to be used in school or post it on FB?

Its so frustrating when school's CCA still plan activities on Saturday whereby it'll clash with the student's tuition which was committed before the CCA confirmation. No make-up for tuition class is allowed, and CCA record will not look good if a student does not turn up for Sat activities.

When I went for the symposium, I approached the consortium director to join the PSG, volunteering on an ad-hoc basis.

RI is near MOELC if taking 3rd language.
HCI has a direct bus (156) to Bishan, unless choose to take 3rd lang at Ghim Moh.

Likewise, I think the hotel web site offers the best rate. Sometimes, reservations request done by agents may not be available when checking-in. However, if booked direct through hotel, requests are given most of the time. Also, when checking in with agents’ voucher, may receive different treatment by hotel staff.


I always check out Trip Advisor before I do my bookings. Esp. when I was going to Cameron Highlands, I followed Trip Advisor’s advise and booked the Junior Suite of Equatorial Hotel (Main Block). During my stay, people who booked the apartment blocks have no water supply and wanted to change room to main block. Thanks Trip Advisor!!

The school’s booklist shows "Friedrich" published by Heinamann, but Popular only sells Puffin version. The school’s bookshop orders will only be in when school starts. Anyone can advise whether Puffin is ok? I’ve searched the web for Heinamann’s Friedrich but don’t have.

1. My son withdrew his French in Sec 2 before the year-end exam


2. My daughter withdrew her Japanese after 6 months into the course.

During the Sec 1 parents meeting, the sec sch said that most dropped 3rd lang due to heavy sch commitments.

Although we knew that it is very hard to sustain 3rd language course for 4 years, we let the kids go through the course to see how far they can go.

No harm in extra learning. But the text books are expensive, though the course iis free.
