My sons will be starting tomorrow. I signed them up for the term.
It looks really good. The programme is pretty holistic. I like that they will be helping the boys with homework so the kids will not be returning home late and still worry about homework. Homework was one assurance I received as it was quite important given that the boys will be in school from 2 to 6pm. My one concern was that exams are just around the corner. But the vendor assured me that they will be focusing on helping the kids with the exams this term. So it appears positive. However the proof of the pudding is in the eating. So I won’t know how good they really are until I see my sons’ progress report from the school. But I am quite positive about it because it is endorsed by the school.
If all goes well this term, I shall keep them in for the whole of next year.
It’s like putting them in an international school but without the high fees.

RE: Visible Math - Discussion
I’ve just pulled my son out of Visible Math.
I think that enrichment centres are fine if your child is already doing well in the subject as they will provide more challenge.
But if your child is weak, then an enrichment centre may not be suitable.
My son’s Math grades went steadily down so I pulled him out. This was after spending two terms in the centre. -

Hi Intermezzo. What is your current piano? Perhaps I can buy it from you when you upgrade.
