Our DD says that the FT told the class if they can't find the vendor, they can pass the registration and money to the FT.

We are signing up our DD as she as expressed interest in it. If she is interested, I usually will let her because I don't want to kill her interest.
I was worried she would be too tired, don't know how to buy lunch, etc, but she told me to just give her extra money to buy lunch. My dd is also very shy. Since this will help her be more independent, I'm all for it. Plus, I think workload in P1 still manageable. Good time to ease her into such after school \"enrichment\".

I think goto check if the canteen open after sch cos I saw a lot of parents n helpers bringing packed food to the gals who are having cca or remedia after sch.

And also the reason for signing up? I am keen to sign up for my gal but my husband said that she will not like it coz she's shy and her interest is not there. I hope she will build up confidence and learn to speak up through the course but my husband don't think so. Haiz!!

I passed the chq to my gal n ask her to make payment herself. She told me parents r allowed to go to sch during recess to make payments.
I think tmr is the last day for registration.

1) clipboard
2) raincoat/poncho
3) snack
4) waterbottle
5) money for buying food at the zoo
6) Wear PE attire

It was raining when my gal went to the zoo last thurs. She was wet coz there's a hole on her raincoat. I gave her $10 for buying food at the zoo. She bought a set of fish n chip for $10 to share with her friend.

She didn't eat her snack coz she said that they were walking all the way.
They have a P6 buddy with them at the zoo.

Just a quick feedback on sch buses issues, I didn’t knw there is Pte buses other than appointed ones by the school. I see mini buses n vans with no assistant on board.
Do remind your gals to stay seated throughout the ride hm as I see many gals standing up talking n playing on the moving bus. (fm the height of the gals i sAw, they shd belong to upper level) safety 1st!

I pack bento on alternAte days for my gal as I hope she can try to buy food on her own. I prepare bite size sandwiches for her break time.

During 1st 2 days in sch, I see many upper level gals still bringing their bento to sch for recess and have picnic style recess with their pals which I find it interesting! I think it’s a better way as they save the time queuing and have more quality time talking to their friends.

I'm suprised too! This year I managed to enrol my gal with more than 2km address! :imcool:

I was there on the 2nd day of 2C registration fm 2pm to 330... Due to some issues on our location used.
There were afew parents there to do the registration and who drop by to check the vacancies available. My guess for the low application rate, many were PRs n they didn't want to take the risk due to the new SC vs PR rule.
Within 1km r mostly PTE hse and those within 2km rather try BPRS as they shd b within 1km n given the new rule, they may hv higher chance for BPRS hence more seats left for 2C supp.

Shd have 20 or more vacancies for 2c sup. All 2C applicant not need to ballot if I'm not wrong.
