Are you particular about the drawing tablet? If you are not too particular, you can try to get it from Taobao, there are many which are going for a much cheaper price (<S$50) and it is functional. Has got high sensitivity and all. But if you are looking for more refined ones then it will be better to stick to wacom tablets.
Or alternatively, have you considered getting a tablet (Samsung or Apple)?

Thanks for your advice. I guess post processing is an important segment in photography as well? And the link is a good read too.

I find these few tips very useful. One other tip is don't be afraid to crop a photo to remove unwanted distraction to the subject or t message you want to deliver.
Hope this help
I tend to take more landscape photos as I find that I am not good with compositions for street photography. Need to practice more. haha -
RE: What is L1R5?

If you wish to take a subject that your school doesn't offer, you will need to get your school's approval before you can take it up. And you will need to find a private tutor who is able to guide you on the subject, as it might not be easy to do a self study for certain subjects if you are missing out resources like notes or past year papers etc.Wow ! Thanks alot!
But i was wondering if i could take chinese literature as one of the subjects , but am afraid that i cant take it as my school does not support it .
Funny to say , i heard they did not support english literature too.
Is it possible for me to take both at o level myself ? Or should i try my best to get better grades and transfer out at the end of the year? ( streaming this year )
I really hope to take history and the two lits as these are the only ones i can score better in
Thanks
And the reason why you will need to seek the school's approval is because at the end of the day, when you register for O levels, you are not taking the subject as a private candidate but will be registered as a school candidate.
Hope that helps

Other than getting doctors to assess your ds, you can check if your school has got an AED(LBS). They specialise in providing support for students who are facing some academic difficulties. They will be able to work with your child and might have some teaching methods that are helpful to themjacsplace:
My DS is also taking his PSLE this year. He failed maths for the first time last year. He has completely no interest in the subject, despite constant encouragement by us and his tutor. His TL is also a wash-out. He likes science but he doesn't put any effort into it. EL is only strong subject. However, for all subjects, he displays carelessness in his answers. He doesn't read questions properly and thus will either not answer them completely or correctly. His handwriting is awful. DH did some research and is now wondering if he could have ADD. We just got a referral letter from the polyclinic to see the Child Guidance Clinic. Waiting for appointment at the clinic.
Dear Jacsplace
Do you mind to share what is the result of your ds in the medical appointment. The way you describe your ds sounds like my ds.
I am very concerned too.
