Kumon is more of drilling but ultimately school syllabus is not about what is 2x4 , 4 x 3 or rather is more of foundation and concepts build up right from lower primary.
instead of going enrichment, the textbooks nowadays are quite practical and hands on if you are looking at my pals are here. try getting the different manipulative (if you need more buildup on a certain topic) and guide your child. Sometimes learning and moltivation from parents does help a child instead of relying on enrichment alone,
If you are looking at MOE syllabus related enrichment, can try The Learning Lab, Concept Math, Eyelevel besides those already mentioned by others.

RE: Travel: Taiwan - Taipei
Weather in december , last december was raining for close to 2 weeks before sunshine came.

We carry test tubes - for plastic ones.
Big ones are in a Set of 6 for 14.90 including test tube rack.
Small ones are $6.90 for a Set of 10.
Can also take a look at Let's Explore Chemistry Kit ! Its quite interesting and also contain a lot of tools you may require.

Wow, this is good! You ladies are awesome :grphug: giving me so many ideas!slmkhoo:
You can look online for 'kitchen table science' or similar ideas. My kids were in a very small school overseas until 8th/10th grades, and that's the only kind of science experiments they did until getting back to Singapore. Actually, since my older girl is not taking science A levels, those are the only science experiments she'll every do! At your son's age, some of those that can be done with common household items and materials should be fine (and fun).
BB mom,
When I go art friend, it's usually for art supplies. Never notice they have test tubes! Thanks for the alert! -

You can buy good quality unifix cubes from Amazon. Unifix cubes are good concrete materials for children to manipulate. There is so much you can do with unifix cubes, from practising fine motor skill to counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, patterning and measuring.

You can use the below too:) to demonstrate money conceptsDoes he like money?
Use the 10 cent coins and 1 cent coins to teach him, then you can teach this concept and money at the same time.
1 cent coins quite useless these days, so might as well turn it into teaching resources.http://www.learningstore.com.sg/images/b932.jpg\">

Hi mrswongtuition, thank you for the reply and the suggestion on the use of different colour, that will really help the little one to visualise…
Just wondering, if the school did not teach, is it ok for the child to apply this concept when answering questions during homework time?http://www.learningstore.com.sg/images/b802%281%29.jpg\">

It is also something hands on and similar to things that they come across and use in schools.
