      Hi

my child is diagnosed with the above but not taking the wearing of hard brace well. she is under the research study and they would track how often she wear a day.

after a month, she is still not progressing well. i don't want to judge people who choose not to wear a brace or wear little of it. I believe everyone is different. i cannot force her, but i have been talking to her and letting her start slow, but as she is not progressing by wearing more hours per day, now i am feeling that stress.

she says the brace is making her underarm very uncomfortable. and the tightness is making her breathless, n of coz the heat. she is only wearing at most 2 hours a day. what should i do?

anyone can recommend a phyiotherapy session?
So sorry to hear about this, jkids!
We've been in a similar situation with my son, so I completely understand you. Progressing was slow for us as well, but I have researched the brace and statistics show that children in their puberty years and early teens, the brace can correct the curve almost completely. So we gave it a go and even though it wasn't nice experience for us all, it helped him to recover.

      Stay healthy!

    • RE: Any good Air Purifier to recommend?

      Father_Zach\" post_id=\"1958286\" time=\"1578594470\" user_id=\"182986:

Regarding air purifiers, how do you clean them?
Depends on a model. In general it's just remove filters and use a dry, soft cloth to wipe it down. Ours is pretty easy to clean, for instance (it has HEPA filters, so no need to wash them - just replace the filter after three months).
And it's not recommended to use a vacuum cleaner to clear the filter - they might loose \"filtering qualities\" so you need to replace them if you care about your health.
If you have other questions, I'd be glad to answer, Zach.

    • RE: Reusable bags - what to do with them?

      Use them as garbage bags?
I also keep a couple in the car at all times, for trash. Then can toss when near a trash can when traveling.
My reusable bags great for boxed or canned food items. One of the reusable bags also nice when going flea marketing. Can keep with all all you small purchases.
