I have mouth ulcers quite often, whenever I'm weak or don't have enough sleep. Sometimes on the side, sometimes underneath the tongue (that's the most painful one for me 😢 ). I tried those mouth gels/cream, gargled with salt water before, but nothing beats the watermelon powder. Sometimes when I'm lucky, I just apply it once before bed, the ulcer is not painful anymore the next day šŸ˜„ .

It might be a bit bitter if you spray deep into your throat but it's worth a try. :celebrate:

That was my experience, just to share it.

If you are really painful, see doctor immediately ?

I've seen already, but all I got was some gargle & antibotics which was less than effective, to be frank.

Try the Difflam , it is very effective. (For sucking on the month).

I always have ulcers on my mouth or throats or cut, seen few doctors, realised one medicine can solve this problem, You can purchase Oracort E, Tarco (small tube of 5 gram - cost less than $10) which can help you to solve it. This cream can be purchased at any parmacy (without doctor's prescrip). When you have apply the cream 1st time, you will not like as it is quite concentrated, apply before you sleep, however the next day it can rinse away by clear water before you brush your teeth. Appy for a few days, it will recover .

If you have bad sore throat , like something struck in the throat, you can also buy Difflam (has green colour. lemon, etc). This is a fast relief of sore throats. With combination of these two items, sure get relieve your throats. Drink plenty of water , almost every half an hour to relieve the heatiness. All can be purchased at pharmacy, not offshelf. Never use the normal orange lozenges ( doesnt work , take too long to recover).

If you doesnt, pls consult the doctor for further advice. Maybe antibotics may require due to throat infection.

Really grateful for the detailed advice. But the irritating thing is that my ulcer is stuck at the back of my throat. Unless can open my mouth wide like an alligator, I don't think I can reach it. If it's visible, then half the battle would already have been won.

But I'll take note of your advice should I suffer from sore throat in future. Thanks again :celebrate:

I got this big nasty ulcer at the back of my throat, making innocuous actions like swallowing saliva feel like eternal torture. The really deadly combination is that the more conscious I am of the pain, the more saliva I have.

It's keeping me awake at night, and its deep down my throat so I can't easily apply any cream at it. Is there any remedy or shall I just have to outlive this stubborn ulcer 😢

Q3) A street-lamp is erected at an interval of 8m on one side of the street. On the other side of the street, an angsana tree is planted at every 6m. There are 12 more angsana trees than street-lamps.
      a) Ho long is the street if there is one street-lamp and one angsana tree on both ends of the street.
      b) How many street-lamps and angsana trees are there?

      Hi

This question is quite similar to the balloon question in PSLE Maths 2009.

String of 2 big balloons is 90cm
String of 5 small balloons is is 1.2m
If both strings are of the same length, there would be 105 more small balloons than the big balloons. How many balloons are there altogether?

      Best wishes

Hi Ler, my bad , the answer is indeed \"are\". Who is a relative pronoun in this sentence and it is relates to the people not the uncle. rather than get into what a relative pronoun is, lets try switching the words around.

1)My uncle is one of the people who ______ very compassionat . He never hesitates to help the less fortunate.

2)My uncle never hesitates to help the less fortunate. He is one of the people who are very compassionate.

Do you see now that it actually refers to the people than the uncle?

Hope this helps you. Sorry for the confusion
      Thank you

These few multiple choice were extracted from Nanyang SA2 2010, english paper, which have different answer on the answer sheet.

Thanks for helping me clear my doubts.

      Ler,
Q1 answer is\"...one of the people who ARE...\"

In this case, the subject is 'people' as the 'who' is referring to them. However, if it is 'one of the people, my uncle, ___ very compassionate.', the ans should be 'is'.

my DS is v v sure of his answer/explanation above cos he sat for this paper and he has the right anwers for this NYPS prelim paper from the sch itself.

      Hi Ler,

The answer like everyone here says is \"ARE\" as we follow the word-

people. The focus is on 'people' and not 'one'.

This is a complex grammar structure that I noticed schools like to test kids

on, poor kids. Seems like they are always thinking of ways to make it

      harder.
Now i am getting more confused, whether is or are.
