RE: Development Support Programme
I used to think so too - no labeling. but after seeing my boys make improvement after therapy and coaching and after reading on early intervention i start to change my mind. but i agree not all children need these programmes. if in doubt bring to your doctor or get your child assessed!

RE: All About (Global) Development Delays
hi tigermom10,
my boy was diagnosed with GDD too. now going for OT for motor skills and ST for speech and language. we have seen improvement so far. also need to practice at home. just need to be patient with his learning coz he takes longer. but mt speech therapist told me some of her kids acquire average level of functioning on re-test when they get older and don’t need therapy anymore. so be patient and hang in there!
